1. Editorial independence
Story selection and editorial decisions are made by Yutashu’s editorial team. Sponsors do not receive the right to approve, suppress, or rewrite independent editorial coverage. Sponsored or paid material, if introduced, will be clearly labeled.
2. What we publish
We consider gay fiction, adult and erotic fiction, real relationship stories, personal essays, and community perspectives. Publication decisions may consider originality, craft, relevance, consent, safety, legal risk, diversity of voice, and fit with our audience.
3. Editing reader submissions
Editors may improve grammar, pacing, structure, titles, summaries, formatting, accessibility, and search presentation. We may add content warnings, clarify whether a work is fiction, and anonymize people or places. We aim to preserve the contributor’s intended voice and meaning. Material changes to a personal account may be discussed with the contributor when practical.
4. Accuracy and verification
Personal stories reflect a contributor’s perspective and may not be independently verifiable. We may ask for clarification or supporting information, but we avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive records. Claims about identifiable people receive additional scrutiny and may be removed, generalized, or declined.
5. Privacy, dignity, and trauma-aware editing
We minimize identifying details, avoid sensationalizing abuse, and use clear warnings for potentially distressing themes. We do not publish sexual content involving minors or non-consensual intimate material. Contributors may use a pen name or remain anonymous.
6. Corrections and updates
We correct material errors as reasonably soon as we can. Depending on significance, we may edit the article, add an editor’s note, update a label, or remove material. Email the article URL and a clear explanation to yutashu.gay@outlook.com.
7. Conflicts, gifts, and compensation
Editors and contributors should disclose financial, personal, or organizational interests that could materially affect a story. Unless separately agreed in writing, reader submissions are unpaid. Gifts or sponsorships do not guarantee coverage or favorable treatment.
8. Use of AI tools
AI tools may assist with spelling, translation, brainstorming, or production, but a human editor remains responsible for publication decisions. Contributors should disclose substantial AI generation. We do not intentionally use private submissions to train our own public AI model. Sensitive drafts should not be placed into third-party AI systems without appropriate permission and safeguards.
9. Appeals and complaints
A contributor may ask us to reconsider an editorial or moderation decision by emailing the relevant URL, the decision being challenged, and the reason. We cannot promise reversal or publication, but we will review good-faith concerns.
